Butlers and Household Managers

Duties may include overseeing tradesmen, household budgets, booking travel, taking calls, receiving guests, care of employers’ valuables and vehicles, light housekeeping, running errands and coordinating all aspects of entertaining including event planning.

Governesses

A Governess is someone employed in a private household specifically to teach and train children. In contrast to a nanny, she concentrates on a tailored education for your children rather than meeting their physical needs. Her charges are of school age rather than babies.

Groundskeeper/Gardener

A Groundskeeper/Gardener is a person with a gardening or horticultural qualification who maintains the household’s grounds. They are responsible for the general care and maintenance of a property which may include landscaping, weed/pest control, hedge trimming, lawn care and maintenance, planting trees, maintaining flower beds, raking leaves, cleaning of outside areas including driveways, swimming pool care and other home maintenance or carpentry work.
