- Duties
- A lovely, fun, and active family in Havelock North, with two bright and curious children (B2.5 and B7 months), is seeking a warm, reliable career nanny/family assistant to join them as mum prepares to return to work (from home).
The children are energetic and love being outdoors, getting messy, and engaging in meaningful learning experiences. The family is looking for someone with great energy who is eager to get involved and create fun, enriching play experiences for their little ones.
HOURS & TIMELINE:
** Starting Part-Time: 1 day per week (3–4 hours).
** Progressing to Full-Time: Ideally 30 hours per week (8:00 am – 2:00 pm).
** Flexibility: The timeline for increasing hours is flexible, allowing time to build a strong relationship with the family.
Mum officially starts work on June 1st, 2025, but they’re open to an earlier start to help establish a connection and transition into the role. There’s also a 12-week period where part-time hours can gradually increase to full-time as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
** Caring for the children and supporting their learning and development.
** Creating fun, meaningful play opportunities.
** Light household tasks and cleaning.
REQUIREMENTS
Full driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
First Aid Certificate.
