- Duties
- Family with two boys B2.5 and B4 looking for a lovely nanny to join them to support Mum who is a shift worker.
The shifts generally work on a 4x12 hour shifts on, followed by 5 days off.
This means Mum needs a unique care arrangement that enables her to leave home by 5:30am, returning at 6:30pm on the two day shifts - Then 5:30pm and returning at 6:30am for two night shifts.
Care is needed for the boys between these hours and duties would include:
:Dayshifts: Start 5:30am
- Wake-up around 6:30am
- Breakfast and get ready for school (bags will be packed and clothes will be out for the day)
- 08:00-08:30am Daycare drop-off
- Pick up children by 5:00pm
- Provide snacks and lite entertainment prior to Mum coming home at
6:30pm
:Nightshift: Start 5:30pm
Children will be home from daycare and dinner will be ready.
- Provide children with dinner, potentially bath if not already done by Mum.
- Play and read books prior to 7:30pm
- Get ready for bedtime
(A clean bed, fridge access, WIFI, Netflix etc will be provided for you while you are in the family home)
- Children are usually up by around 6am so you may need to assist them with some morning cartoons or cereal before Mum returns home at approx 06:30am.
Occasionally Mum will need care for a 12 hour weekend dayshift when the children are not in daycare. This will be a negotiable weekend rate and commence at 05:30am - 6:30pm.
Essentially for a block of shifts, Mum needs about 15 hours of active care and 20 hours of passive care while the kids are asleep. (Mum gets her roster in 9 week blocks so guaranteed work with notice).

Nanny needs full clean drivers licence and own reliable vehicle.
